the pastel podcast

i host conversations exploring the grey areas of life, as well as the stances that are very black and white. each episode is shared with a guest as we touch on topics such as polyamory, ageism, the difference between ambition and escapism, separation of the art from the artist, oatmilk as the superior alternative milk, genderqueerness v. gender-apathy, neurodivergence, whether or not life is all really just a simulation, domesticity & dating, among many other nuanced (or not at all nuanced) topics. here are some of my favourite episodes from seasons 1 and 2.

nostalgia couch

natasha (aka mother of fizz chick zine), and i call our inner children/teens to the couch for a little chat. we're here to shamelessly indulge in the things we love and didn't get to love in our adolescence. we welcome our audience to join us in loudly, enthusiastically sharing nostalgic joy. take a seat, grab some popcorn, and confront your cringe.

suck less tomorrow

carlton interviewed me for his podcast for โ€œteachers who are done pretending it's easyโ€ and the importance of humanizing educators and creating space to fixate less on being the perfect teacher and more on showing up better each day. in the pilot episode, i talk about authentic joy in the classroom, workplace dynamics, and burnout.
